Fuel additives

#1 Post by ss » Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:40 pm

I have just acquired a 1968 1300FWD (SC) to add to my little collection, which should hopefully arrive next week. My other later triumphs are happy on unleaded, but I gather that the 1300 engine doesn't like it and needs LRP or additives. As you can't get LRP round here any more, and I've never used an additive before, I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on what to use/steer clear of and how exactly it is used? Am I right in thinking that it is the same engine as the Toledo etc?
Cheers,
