water loss.

I have only covered about 300 in my new sprint,but it seems to be lossing about half a pint of water every week ( about 70 - 100 miles ) there are no visible leaks and the oil is fine, the car runs perfectly and temp gauge sits at just below half and never alters, oil pressure is also fine. I spoke to someone today that stated that the sprints had porous heads !!!!! <br>

Can anyone offer any advice re this, its not a problem at the moment but I am concerned it will get worse,<br>

Very unlikely that a head will go porous, probably a small leak, possibly the water pump?<br>

Try giving the head a torque, it may be a small weep. They don't always pressurise up badly, water can just leak out of a headgasket rather than leak into the engine itself.
