Brake Master Cylinder Identification.

#1 Post by Stan Part » Sat Jul 08, 2006 4:44 pm

The gent that gave me the Rotoflex also gave me a brand new Brake Master Cylinder.

It has the words "Girling .75A" cast into it on one side, whilst on the other side it reads "Girling . 75".

On the one on my 1850 it reads (through the white powder) "75 Girling" on both sides ( The dot may be there and I cannot see it).

Assuming this was orignially bought either for his 1500 FWD or his later Toledo and put away unused, will it be of use for me to keep for my 1850?

It's dimensions look the same and there is a single outlet on both in the same place.

Alan, This should be fine for your 1850, all dolomite Single Line B'Masters are the same, Girling .75 bore.
