I've heard of someone spraying them with matt black paint. I have also thought of using matt black emulsion paint, but I wont know if this works until my boot has been emptied of all the parts I've taken off the front, due to some other jobs I'm doing!
I'll give the paint a go. It's not on the Sprint so I'm not to fussy,
Thanks

Black shoe polish (or should that be boot polish?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> ) can hide most scuffs, but be sure to polish it well else it will migrate to whatever you put in the boot afterwards!

Boot Trim

And never drive around with an alternator in the back and no trim either - There's 2 small peaks in the rear wing of the auto from where I did, slowly gathering rust...

Black gloss spray paint in my boot and they came up really well.
Just remove all traces of grease, silicon etc before applying.

Auto Glym Vinyl Cleaner

Auto Glym Vinyl Cleaner did a surprisingly good job of polishing my 'black bits'. 3 coats and it was like new.
