the dreaded rust

ive got the dreaded rust on both of the front edge of my wings,(amongst other places)<br>
do they do and attachment for a mini angle grinder to get back to good metal?<br>
and whats the best rust treatment/filler to use<br>

You don't say if this is front or rear wings. If it is front then i assume it is where it meets the front panel. If it is rear i would suspect the common lower narrow section next to the rear door. Either way the only way rust will not come back is to cut it out. If you do not need a full rear arch you could butcher a repair panel for the lower section or make it yourself. If it is the front you may be able to replicate the shape with some cuts and bends, use card first. Don't be surprised if the lower front panel is also bad on the join.<br>
A cutting disc on an angle grinder wil cut out the rot.<br>

You can grind the metal back and hope you have some solid steel, use a rust killer treatment with some filler but the panel will be thinner and it will come back again , sometimes very quickly depending if you can get to the back of it. <br>

To be used once you 'think' you are back to good metal, washed off with sovent immediately prior to paint prep.
