I am sure Alun will have plans in hand when a change in manufacturer becomes necessary - have confidence in him. And maybe wait till he has some room in his garage.
Cellulose?

#35 Post by Jon Tlson » Thu Jul 06, 2006 6:21 pm

Its a bit hot and you are getting orange peel becuase the thinner is flashing off too quickly.
Use more thinners or wait until its cool. It should look wet as you spray it on...if it doesnt and looks powdery you arent putting enough paint on.
orange peel

i agree with jon, but orange peel effect can also be caused by the pressure comming out of the gun. i wouldnt suggest adding too much thinners, better to turn the temp down slightly. cant remember if its low or high pressure thats the problem but i seem to remember it being too lower pressure.
