Gearbox gasket

#1 Post by tdcsuffolk » Wed Mar 31, 2004 11:11 am

Hi, my Sprint gearbox appears to be leaking - possibly from the gasket. Is it possible to change the gasket with the gearbox in situ, by draining and removing the bolts which hold the two sections together? I won't be trying this unless I am sure it will all go back together ok and springs and teeth are not going to fly out all over the floor and into my eyes and I crouch beneath. Removing the gearbox not possible at the mo.
Apologies as always if this has already been convered in previous threads - couldn't find anything.
Cheers. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">
