refitting 1500tc gearbox

im having trouble getting my gearbox in, im doing it from inside of the car.<br>

im pretty sure its just because the clutch isnt aligned, but i dont have an aligning tool or the right size allen key.<br>
<br>
what is the imperial size just a little smaller than 5mm?<br>
<br>
should the gearbox go in easily with the clutch aligned or is there a trick to it?<br>
