Battery or Alternator ? R.I.P

Hi guys<br>

Have a problem starting my Sprint<br>
<br>
Battery as no charge even after a long run<br>
<br>
Stalled on a roundabout last night and had to bump start it<br>
<br>
Runs OK when started exept when pulling upto a junction and lifting off the gas and dipping the clutch revs drop right down to nothing then climb back upto 700 ish<br>
<br>
What tests should I carry out to assertain which is at fault <br>
battery or alternator<br>
<br>
Don't want to replace wrong thing<br>
<br>
