Is there still anyone around who can search out info given a registration number? I've got an issue with one of my old cars, would like to sort it out.
If you want to get the registered keepers details you will need to write to DVLA explaining the reasons why you need the info. If its parking ticket/speeding ticket related and they are under the impression that the vehicle was yours at the time then get it sorted sooner rather than later.
Cheers, but I really need to check to see if I'm still the registered keeper... that is without paying for a duplicate V5 (old one lost). If I am, I'm happy. And yes, is it a somewhat complicated situation, but nothing to do with fines, parking etc.
Really easy answer. Ring the DVLA and ask for a new registration certificate. They'll ask for your name and check it against the record, and if your name isn't currently on the V5 they won't let you have a copy of it. If your name is on it, just tell them you've lost your debit card so you can't pay for a new one, then hang up.
or just ring them explaining your story if you are the owner they will say but if you are not they wont give any info.
have reg , chassis no, date bought to hand as they will ask these. then you will lumbered with a large bill for not declaring it sorn.
