engine
i can appreciate your comments ,but who decides the going rate on an item ? what would you class as the going rate for an engine ?I personally have no idea.
As there has been 3 bids on it, i am against two or possibly 3 equally "engine-needy" people, who in theory should push the price up....then the going rate would be gone.........and so will my bid.
Re: engine
Looking at this from a different point of view.

Your at a car auction, nobody knows each other and you pay what you consider is a fair price for a car.

If it goes for more than you want to pay, the search continues.

I guess this way every one gets a fair crack of the wip. At the end of the day if we get that desperate for something we ask on this forum and negotiate a fair price between ourselves?

Only if the club doesn't stock the wanted item....!
