Probably not Martin. I won't be renewing my TR Register membership as I have no intention of racing with them next year and the track-day is only open to members (or persuasive members who can convince them to let a non-member in!)

£115 seems a bit steep to me. It mentions £115 with tuition but doesn't mention a price if you don't want tuition.

My first race is believed to be Silverstone on the 26th March and I'm aiming to do at least one track day before then for running in purposes.

I'll have a look at various track-days later and maybe we can co-ordinate a day for me, you, Graeme and others that is a bit more keenly priced. What do you think?
4th April!!!

I hope its fired up by then but tis going to be a tall order to get it totally fit and ready for track use so I won't be reserving a spot I'm afraid.

Its first track run will probably be a half day Keevil session or even a Coombe action day around May time.

£115 seems pretty good for Mallory to me. Motorsport events charge £129.

The track day is being organised by the TR Register - for an application form call 01235 818866. If you say you are a TDC member I don't think they will try and force you to join the TR Register!

I'm hoping to get to the Mallory track day, as a shakedown for the first Groovy Baby at Castle Coombe on April 17th.
Martin, this is your local circuit, isn't it. Any comments, it looks a great circuit, just a long way from Norwich!
Great, I'll see you there. Hopefully my Sprint will be going a lot better than last year. I've had it on the rollers since then & ironed out a few problems ie. stopped the fan belt from comming off every 5 minutes.

CC is a fast track. The most challenging corner to look out for is Quarry. You come up Avon Rise at over 100mph (fastest part of the track) then it's a left, right with the camber going all ways. This is where the crowds gather (I wonder why).

I'll have to put that date in my diary & come up and watch.

Blimey that was a quick reply! If all goes well I'll get some tickets to you. It's a 45 minute 2 driver race, so I could do with some help in the pitlane.
Count me in too! I'd be well up for some pit lane action.

Mart and I are used to working as a mechanical force to be reckoned with (he shears off the bolts, I jump on things and swear a lot, Mrs Smifter get the caffeine overdose lined up!).

Can anyone tell me how much it is for an extra driver, I sent my form back & can't remember, I think it was £30.

Right, already for tomorrow. Hope the rain stays away. I wonder what will break this time? there's always something.
