I think someone is spying on me.

New to computers, but every time I am on ebay looking at stuff I get a little caption poping up with an eye and a no entry sign.<br>
What does this mean, I am thinking somebody is trying to look at my computer!?<br>

Either you have a popup blocker of some form, which is what you are seeing, or a piece of spyware has made it onto your machine. <br>

Go here and download "Adaware" and then run the program. It's quite easy to use and should clean your machine of any spyware, if that's what it is.<br>

most of them are harmless. they're usually things like remembering who you are when you log in to these forums and stuff like that...but...some aint. If you have ever stumbled accidentally <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> onto some "Big Women in Big Knickers" websites.....<br>

Anyway, i would suggest you use something like windows washer<br>

download crapcleaner. its free and should speed up your machine. There is also the microsoft anti-spyware free download that works quite well. Adaware has missed spyware that I KNOW is on machine which was picked up by the Microsft one.<br>
