DIY EFI

[SMIFTER]

As I've mentioned before I'm planning on a complete DIY fuel injection system for my XE engine.<br>

But I've come across this system advertised in retro cars which I'm making a note of in case i cock it all up.<br>

Seems a pretty good value option compared to some aftermarket EFI systems. <br>

megasquirt can be bought ready built for half the cost of that ecu.<br>

Its still cheaper than a weber alpha, emerald or mbe system.<br>
<br>
Megasquirt is a lot cheaper, but it needs a lot more tweaking to get it running properly. <br>
<br>
I'm still planning on using megasquirt but I need to have an escape plan if it all goes horribly wrong!

i think the only reason megasquirt needs more tweaking is because any sensors can be used, rather than buying overpriced sensors specified for weber/emerald/mbe ecu's.<br>
