Dublin

#1 Post by Carsreunited » Thu Apr 06, 2006 11:40 pm

Well, I'm off to Dublin in the morning for the Crack. My local dealer has gone into hiding so I thought that if the mountain won't come to Mohammed.....

Seriously, as Mr Macky would say, "Drugs are Bad" and I don't go near the stuff, will just be drinking copious amounts of the black stuff, hopefully not enough to wet the bed (again!). Hoteliers don't like that.

I'll be in the CityWest Hotel golf club bar from around 4pm for an hours or so if there are any locals who fancy a quick one. Christ knows how I'll spot you but I'll be with 2 or 3 guys who are bald as a coot.

Won't be posting for a few days so it's a small break for all of you.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Naas

Are you going racing at Naas, a few miles outside Dublin or is your trip just a jolly. I raced there when I was racing my MG Midget, what a blast and the hospitality was fantastic.

Have fun either way

Cheers
No, I was just over on a stag do. The locals must be getting really annoyed as Temple Bar just seems to be full of Stag do's and Hen party's. Don't think I spoke to any locals apart from at the golf courses.
Great number plate considering your previous occupation Scott. Is that why you bought it?
It was on the car from new. My father in Law had it as a company car in 1974, bought it off the company in 1976 and the passed it to us in 2004 upon his retirement! Great plate as you say.
