a posting was put on the CT implying the same about the flagged cars so i had to mention that at the brooklands triumph meet a few weeks ago the only cars displaying the george cross flags were ..................................................<br>

Seem to recall a few years ago when some other football event was on that someone with far too much spare time worked out how much extra fuel the UK would be using as a result of fitting these silly flags to their cars.<br>

I'm not a footie fan at all as it doesn't have an engine. Surely the fluttering noise must get tiresome after a while not to mention the fact that everyone else has a flag fitted to their car so finding your car in the car park has just become much more difficult.<br>

I particularly like it when the manufacturers decide to print the superfluous "E N G L A N D" across them; I mean, no one is going to mistake the emblem for France or China now are they...
