Spotted a couple of Sprints over the weekend. Cracking Green one BGF (Parked in Arnage and just north of Rouen at side of the road as we waited to get past the Camper inferno. (pics on Piston heads, crying shame) and a Red sprint I think it was parked up near Houx Annexe Roundabout on mad Friday.

I trust these fine charriots made it home intact?

Houx Annexe Roundabout on mad Friday....utterly mental. think a few people went a bit too far with the firing water into the cars.

Superb weekend though

Re: Le Mans 2006
You were about 50 yards from me when you were are the roundabout. Unfortunately you were about 200 miles from my sprint for reasons that I will eventually get around to writing up.

Damn good weekend indeed. Gotta feel for those Aston boys, once was painful but twice? Ouch!
What did you guys think of the alterations?

I think the loss of the viewing area on top of the ACO building is a bit of a shame. Did you figure out what is happening to the pit exit or is it still to be finalised?

The new village is a vast improvement I feel. It used to take ages to get from the main tunnel area down to the bottom of the pits, hell of a lot quicker now. No feel to the place yet, it's all too new but the Audi screen helped de-sanitise it a bit.

The line of the new corner at Terte Rouge isn't really clear yet, they could ruin it if they just bring the entry forward and open the corner out making it much easier. Hopefully they'll keep the circuit passing the TR bar. If they move the track away from that it'll be a real shame.

I didn't venture down to the funfair, what was it like? Having it split over 2 or 3 areas in the past few years thoroughly ruined the atmosphere IMHO.
