Long long time ago

#1 Post by 2F45T4U » Fri Jul 14, 2006 12:49 am

I had a crash... Had a letter yesterday off the police saying there not going to take further action. 6 months later!

I started claiming against the woman about 3-4 months ago but gave up at the stage where they asked me to send them pictures and receipts of the work done for there consideration. I gave up because of what 2 or 3 toss pot police men said to me on the day of the crash. Estimating my speed with rediculous guesses. What is the point of fighting the insurance company if the police are on there side?

This may sound sly/sneaky but is it to late to carry on pursuing the claim?
I think you can still claim up to 2 years from the date of the accident if no agreement or settlement has been made.
...its 3 years I think you have to file an action against someone in those circumstances.

my bike accident happened in feb 2003. action filed feb this year, court date set for november. the insurers came back with a pathetic offer that I just laughed at, fook it, I couldnt give a toss how it takes and I will go to court unless they quote me happy!

insurance companies are generally robbing bandit tosspot money machines and they deserve a kick in the nuts now n again...
