head gaskets

hi, need some info on head gaskets, noticed on rimmer site they list a standard head gasket and a thick gasket and also a payen make at extra cost , now would i need a thick gasket as head has been refaced and is there justifacaction in buying the payen gasket <br>
you,re nowhow would be greatly appreciated...

I think we've been thru this in there somewhere. It all depends on how much your head has been skimmed. The thick gasket restores the C/R to something sensible.<br>
I prefer Payen myself or the Unipart "original" if you can find them. Dont know what Rimmers sell...it will be reasonable quality if not the cheapest. I'd try Fitchetts or Robsport.<br>
