Nice car, like what I see. I'm just discussing the feasability of it with my dad, then see what to go from there. Don't have much garage space aroudn here at the moment <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Terrible shame to scrap a relatively sound car for the sake of ~200 quid's worth of glass, as the seller himself said, but no-one wants it as is.

You do wonder how people don't just fix the little bits and set it back out for sale though, instead of just tearing it to bits for the sake of a few flaws though...

I asked him, and he very generously obliged - to take a few pictures of the usual dolomite hot spots, as well as some more of the interior and engine bay.

Will be interesting to see, wonder how much it needs to get on the road and why it ended up in a scrappy. Dodgy engine rebuild?

*edit*

Just found he wants offers in the region of 600....I'll wait for more pictures and see if it runs first!

Ive got pics, tho i cant figure out how to attach here!

Its got no MOT/tax, heres the email i got!

"To be perfectly honest, I don't know if the car runs at the moment. I will try it tonight for you. There is no reason why it won't, as many of the items are hardly even worn in, so if it doesn't start up it shouldn't take much to get it going. The car has no tax or MOT at the moment due to a few things that need sorting. It needs a new front screen and at least 2 new tyres (front pair fully deflated, so even if they weren't slashed they probably have bad sidewall damage).

For a price on the whole car... Make me an offer and I'll consider it."

a screen & tyres, therefore u break it? doesnt make sense! Whos gonna have it then?
I've asked how much too, though I have no spare money but can store it in Stourbridge short term (6 months max) and can sell the buyer a screen and good tyres<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Aye!

Free storage (under cover) relies on the sale of the 'screen and and tyres and a promise it'll not be broken!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Flat respray, broken 'screen, dodgy tyres, no MOT...he'll be lucky in this climate; ones with full MOTs have sold for that...or less.

I'm close enough to look if anyone gets the address; too many questions from different quarters will only make him think he has more interest than is warranted!

Likewise, no response to my request for photos or running info yet (well, there was, he said he was off taking them <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"> )

If it's a scrappy or stealership I guess mebbee he's away from it for the w/end.
