I'm having problems with a prat who owes me a front bumper for a Grand Cherokee. Happily took payment but so far ain't delivered the goods, payment was for £113.50. The bumper isn't for me but for a friend who had an accident and I'm helping her rebuild the car. I really hate getting ripped off and this is the first time on ebay. Never had a problem before. 
 
So avoid 2004medina if you can. 
 
Anyone live near 150 Sedgley Road, Woodsetton, Dudley who wants to go around and have a word in his shell-like? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:">

have you been through the ebay 'he didnt post' thingy? 
How have you paid, if paypal you may be able to claim of them (or your creditcard co.) 
 
Sorry to hear this. i wish some of these prats lived near me cos i could have endless fun 'recovering' their cars ect. 
Do you relise that you have accidently posted his address on this forum, its not allowed under privicy laws to tell everyone he lives at 150 sedley rd, woodsetton,dudley. so to be safe i would remove his address from your post.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Have started the ebay thingy but not holding out much hope. Paid by cheque - doh! Oh dear, didn't mean to post his address which is 150 Sedgely Road, Woodsetton, Dudley. I'll happily remove it if anyone is unhappy, I didn't realise. Oops

As it happens, I only live a few miles away from offender; did they say they had posted it? Have you got their contact details from E-bay so that you can telephone the offender? If you get their number and it is a dead-line/false number etc. you can report back to E-bay and they should suspend the account. 
 
If they haven't posted it, would you like me to collect it on your behalf? I can always take it to the Restoration Show and give it to any member going there who lives near you?

Hi Susie, he supplied a mobile number but it always goes onto voicemail and he doesn't reply despite me leaving my number. 
 
That is a very kind offer. I'd be willing to cover petrol costs, etc if you wanted to do that for me. I'm based in North London so I don't know if anyone is passing by on the way to or back from the Restoration Show, or if anyone is going to the show at Ally Pally next weekend I 'll be there. I'd even be willing to pay for delivery again if you'd be up for it. Let me know. I missed the ge off the road name, so should read sedgeley road, sorry. 
I think alarm bells would have started to ring when i saw his shop trading name which is zoso trading. 
zoso has links with Alistar Crowley and magick accultism. 
He seems to only trade in bumpers!! niche market maybe?

I won't be going alone, will ask someone to go with me. After working for the boys in blue (in a support role), I am well aware of all the creeps and scum out there. Pity my bessie mate hasn't gone back to the Specials (the police not the group!) yet or I could have asked him to go togged up with me - that might have put the frighteners on him!

However, the scummy git has responded to the ebay thing. He stated that he will post it out today via TNT as they couldn't pick it up last week due to snow storms??? 
 
I have demanded that he provide proof of collection and a tracking number asap and reminded him that folk were planning on calling round tomorrow. So bear with me for a wee while and we'll see if he does what he's been asked. Grrrrrrrrr

Still no response from him other than to say that the bumper will be sent out today. I've sent him a couple of gentle nudges<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> about providing the carriers details and have given a 21.00hrs deadline for the info. Still ok to try tomorrow? I guess that there is no guarantee that the bumper or Mr.Scummy Ebayer will be there. How far away are you from him?

If seller isn't there, I'll try Sunday and will go un-announced. 
 
I won't be going until the afternoon so plenty of time to give notice if he does actually come up with the proof that he's sent it!
