Shock Swap

Can anyone tell me if I can put the rear shocks from a 1500HL onto my 1850 ?<br>
<br>
The dampers are leaking on my car but I do have in my 'pile' a pair of shocks (damper with springs on) from a '78 1500HL Auto - they are in nice servicable condition.<br>
<br>
Can I simply bolt these onto my '75 1850 ?
