What does everyone feel about removing the rear anti-roll bar from their Sprint? About 15 years ago Jamie Weidner (of Sprintspares fame) suggested to me that it would improve handling. His rationale was that the existing bar restricted the vertical movement of the axle,so that on a negatively cambered corner, the whole axle lifts as one.(meaning the outer wheel would lift off the road) Without it, he suggested that the wheels are able to move indepentently ,a little more freely, vertically,so that they were able to grip a cambered corner better (everyone with me so far?). Of course, this would only really benefit a car that had a modified suspension set-up in the first place (ie lowered, hardened and with better shocks).Anyone got an opinion?
