sprint throttle linkage

Anyone had probs with it? Changed my carb mounts, car running a lot better, but now i cant get full throttle cos the pedal seems to only go part way. Give it some stomp then it goes all the way then stays there, engine revving like mad. The throttle linkage at the carb seems to be a bit loose and is holding the throttle open. Has anyone got a pic of how it should look, or have had the same?

Have a look at your bulkhead wall wheer the throttle pedal mounts; you may find it has cracked and the pedal now wanders therefore not allowing full travel...

Ok chaps, found the culprit on madmarts site. Its the throttle linkage & mounting bracket, part number: 158929. You were right jonners, levers worn and flopping about, trapping the carb linkage at full throttle and holding it open. Anybody got a spare good'un, or know where i can get one?
