Joggler

I'm soon going to have a go at some panel repairs and am looking at welders & a joggler.<br>
<br>
I'm ok with sourcing welder, but havn't used a hand joggler before. Are these adequate to use or do you need pneumatic tool?<br>
<br>
I reckon i'll just get some scrap metal and practise!<br>

Hand action is fine; the weld is likely to distort the metal far more than the joddler will but at least it gives you a chance of getting everything flat...eventually<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :| --><img src=

Ah - but if you've already got a compressor, an air driven joddler is a joy, plus they have a hole punch on the reverse for plug welding (although mine punches a hole a bit too small IMO)<br>

I bought mine many years ago, i'm sure they're not that expensive. <br>
<br>
If you're welding panels and want a seam weld - stich weld with a MIG and you shouldn't get too much distortion unless it's a flat panel.
