Is it me or are the wheel arches different?. I've just had the unenviable task of fitting replacement doors to my 4 door Doledo 1500HL ( yes, I did spell it correect) and the rears are catching the wheel arch a bit. Time to take the hammer out if I can't adjust the doors. Any ideas?<br>

outer arches and rear quarters are different, not sure about inner arches.<br>

the swage line is different too, so depends how good your hammering skills are...<br>

The part of the wheel arch where the doors fits is the same on the Toledo as the Dolomite & the rear doors are identical (exept they appear to be matched to the car at the factory so not every door fits every car - see previous threads on this topic.<br>

The main difference between rear arches is the swage line which is why the Dolomite repair panel will not fit the toledo.

The current 'batch' of arch panels also appear to be too long for the job. I have a few by me and Wilksey fit the first side to Susie's 1850 a short while back and it necessitated the removal of about 3mm material from the centre, vertically through it. I assume you removed all of the existing metal from the flange of the D post door shut?

id make up strategic patch sections, anything too awkward and molten welding wire does a good job in place of filler as long as you're careful not to blow holes through the metal, clean up witha disc, skim, paint, job done...<br>
