Gearbox oil

Topic covered before I know BUT isint the internet a great thing. Nearly everything I have read has been derogatory of EP 90 gear oils yet all the manuals recommend it.<br>
Ep 90 is a dirty word amongst Healy owners reckon straight 30 engine oil or Penrite HPR 30-40 .Ep 90 overworks synchro's<br>
There is an early BMW 320 at work running straight 30 in a recon box. EP 90 Aaaaagh!!!! they say.<br>
