Engine Stabilizer Adjustment

#1 Post by USASPRINTMAN » Mon Aug 07, 2006 2:29 pm

Can anyone tell me what is the proper setting for the engine stabilizer? Should it be adjusted to push up against the engine or pull down on it?

My car makes squeaking noises until I adjust the stabilizer to push up slightly against the engine.

Neither Haynes nor the BL Sprint repair manual explain how it is to be adjusted.

Cheers,
it's there to take out the effects of torque on the mounts
so thus it's adjusted against it doesnt have to be huge amounts of adjustment i dont think there was any real set adjustment ?
