The caption reads :"Line of Triumph Dolomites awaiting construction, Merseyside, 1965."<br>

Whilst I realise they are not Dolomites but Triumph 1300's but I thought that Speke factories only came "on line " in the early '70s with the introduction of the Toledo - am I right ?<br>

Could...
account for the appaling rust resistance of most 1300 fwd's Ive known.<br>
I was actually quite worried about dolomite inner wings in the early days of ownership having seen the state of a friends F reg 1300....some 20 odd years ago this is.<br>

Everything Ive ever seen made at Speke rusts...early TR7s or some Stags being the favourites.,<br>

Thank goodness Dollies were all made at Canley.<br>
