Video of my Spin at Brands hatch

I managed to split the video from 200meg down to about 6 meg for the clip. Have a look and see what you think. After overtaking the red Mini, the white one tries a very brave move past the both of us. I was a bit shocked to say the least and ended up watching him instead of the corner!<br>

I've tried converting the file into mp4 but it doesn't seem to work. I'm a bit new to this stuff as I've only just worked out how to put videos on my ipod.

Yes, but you've see the pictures from that haven't you. Lewis made it into a sequenced gif thingy. I'd described how it came about but as with most things its difficult to imagine. Its a classic potential racing accident scenario. I've got the racing line into the hairpin. The white mini should be along side me at turn-in if I'm to have any chance to yield or we have a smash.<br>

After I saw the video I was suprised by how far back he'd come from. In hindsight I'm sure he would have taken the red Mini and then me on the next lap.

I got it all via my somewhat lacking work pc, including sound.<br>

BOOOOOOOOO at minis, I was in the process of doing one up to race, 1380, omega pistions, lightened, balanced, big fat cam, nitrided crank, straight cut gearbox and drop gears, about 130hp, blah blah blah, but then suddenly realised im 6 ft tall, had a word with myself, and donated the project to my nice bodyshop buddy in birmingham in exchange for the metalwork, paint and labor on 'orange'.<br>

They are damn quick. Somewhere like Brands is giant-killing territory for them. I could pull a few car lengths on them down the pit straight from clearways but around the bends they are awesome. <br>

I love the way you correctly indicate off the roundabout! Good effort. About another 10 mph, a few more revs and you should be able to balance it on the throttle! (And then end up facing 180 degrees the other way like me!!)<br>

This was the start of the race when their was a big accident (again off camera but you can see the smoke). My wife and friend videoing thought I was involved and then like a gorilla out of the mist, I come trundlng out! <br>

You should be able to spot Mark Osbornes black sprint and Tony Crudgingtons Blue Sprint as well.<br>

No, I think it was callateral damage from Steve Primmets car getting sideways off the line. It happened one row in front of me and I dived down the pit lane exit to try and get out the way! I thought I was going to get rear-ended. One Escort got T-Boned by the black Jag and it was completely written off. Big impact. The restart was alot more restrained.<br>
