Thanks to all the organisers for a well organised day.
Maybe!

Quote:
Hope everyone got home safely and swiftly...

Got home safely but not swiftly...but I did meet a very nice man...a very, very nice man. I'd just past Stratford-on-Avon when, coming to a roundabout the car died. Tried restarting but it didn't want to know. Eventually it started & off we went. About a mile up the road it died again, left it for a couple of minutes & it started again. It did this a couple more times but obviously I couldn't keep doing that all the way back to W-s-M so I called the nice man out. Got home at 9:00pm.

Who wants to hazard a guess at the cause of the problem?

Sorry to hear about the breakdown...........i think these cars know what there doing.....some dont want to start in the morning to go a meet because 1) its to cold outside or 2) they are scared of the bigger engined cars

And then are some that dont want to start after the meet has finish because 1) they have enjoyed the day and dont want to go home or 2) they think "if i stop working then chances are ill get a piggyback ride home thus resting my wheels"

they're just a bunch of cheeky so-in-so's!!

It was a really good day today, we really enjoyed what was a nice relaxing, civilised day and like most of you it was a chance to put the real names and faces to the guys/gals on here!!

credit to the organisers who bought all the cars together, really was a good turn out specially the 1300's iv never seen so many together!!

hope everyone got home safely whichever way it turns out to be!!
I'd also like to say thanks. Again, I could only come for a couple of hours in the morning, but TDCIR looked to be an incredible success this year, with an excellent turnout of cars of all models, and loads of new faces as well. Well done to the team!
