VIN numbers location

A while ago Phil asked me if the VIN number was anywhere else on the car except the chassis plate. I didn't thinkso.<br>

Today I found out that on later cars, those with a TWT chassis number it IS! It is stamped onto the top gutter of the boot aperture. This is not the case with the earlier VA/WF numbers as I checked on my own earlier cars.

Thats right Alun, and where it is stamped in the aperture is normally rusty.
