Spotted just around the corner from my house in Egham a few days ago (at the bottom of Vicarage Road). Looked in very tidy condition from the brief glimpse I got!

Pretty sure I also caught sight of it at distance a couple of weeks ago, so probably someone local...

The Scotsman was feeling a bit "crook" so he rang in to the boss at work and said weakly …

"Sorry I won't be in today , I have a wee cough "

His boss replied " You have a wee cough ! "

"Thank you very much" was the reply.

Watched an old episode of Bangers and Cash last night which featured the auctions of both the Wood and Pickett Sprint and the Toledo mentioned above. The bloke from the Mathewsons auction house seemed to be more interested in the Toledo than the Sprint but to be fair, the Toledo did look in lovely ...

I was in my Russet Brown Dolly heading in the opposite direction so only caught a brief glimpse. We did manage a quick wave at each other though!

A nice looking low-mileage 1500FWD just popped up on eBay with a six grand asking price.

I agree the numbers don't add up if looking at TOTAL Dolomite and related car production. The chart makes more sense if you look at it as from mid 60s (when the 1300FWD was introduced) up to the range rationalisation of 1976.
It might make slightly more sense, but the numbers still don't add up ...

Surely the production figures at 14'08" are wildly incorrect? Over 200,000 Toledos and fewer than 100,000 Dolomites?!

I don't know so much, There were only 24000 ish Sprints built over 7 years of production (73-80) leaving 75000 Dolomites (ie 1850s) The Toledo had a 6 year run from late 1970 ...

Interesting. I just tried viewing the page in Chrome and the images don't appear, but I can see them on both Firefox and Opera. Windows 10.
