Just a query regarding Sprint Main bearings RTC1755, are they the same as Stag mains RTC1757? Crank appears to be the same diameter, but probably a different part number for a reason. Rimmers still stock Stag Vandervell STD mains that was all, thanks.

The 18/58 came out of the Triumphtune book, lists the same for 8 valve models also, so probably wrong. However, the workshop manual also has conflicting settings

Just looking at the timing for the standard BL - 312132 cam, have seen a chart listing this as a 18/58 - 256 degree cam. Workshop manual states 14/50 making it a 244 degree cam. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.

Just a heads up that K&N have panel filters on offer (33-2011) for £52 including delivery. On back order, but still a good price.

Paperwork shows 99000 in 1994 & 4000 in 1995, so are we thinking 126000?

What is the length of the arm?

I had similar issues with poor running on choke, rebuilt the carbs which improved things but still not quite right. Turned out to be air leaks on the carb mounts, purchased some of the clubs alloy mounts and now runs very well.
Are they properly balanced and set up?

Had a car and that did this in the past, turned out to be a small amount of water in the fuel tank.

I had the same problem with my Sprint, rebuilt the water pump with no further issues.

The one I have is 2” diameter.
