FWIW, car is back together. I bent the inner brackets open just a hair and the bushes went right in. Weird that I needed to do that but was barely 1/8 of an inch off. Nevertheless, ride and handling are once again restored. Also fitted new ARB end links as had a broken one. One more job done!

Re: SuperPro anti roll bar bushes
The SuperPro ones are also varied in duro/shore rating. I checked with them direct before I made the order with Robsport.

Re: SuperPro anti roll bar bushes
The SuperPro bushes are quite the opposite. I’ve tried many different polybushes over the years and theirs are among the softest/most forgiving I’ve seen yet, which is another reason why I chose them as I am aware that the hard poly stresses the Dolly suspension mounting points.

Re: SuperPro anti roll bar bushes
Well, I used SuperPro because I’ve got them in my TR6 and love the ride as they’re among the most compliant polybushes I’ve ever used so wanted to go that route in the Sprint as well but strange that the ARB bushes won’t fit.

Re: SuperPro anti roll bar bushes
I presume you had no issues with the width of the bushes and the brackets? Maybe the set I got were packaged wrong..

SuperPro anti roll bar bushes
Hi gents,
Anyone else used the front anti roll bar bushes from them? I’ve completed my front and rear suspension overhaul and so finally got round to fitting the front ARB bushes and I noticed that the SuperPro ones are slightly wider than what came out and won’t fit inside the inner brackets. The ...

Re: Upper wishbone washers
Right, well, it’s done now but I’ve learned my lesson for the future. As mentioned, the SuperPro polybush provided for the lower inner is quite hard in comparison to the others so I’ll be interested to see how the drive goes. Rimmers show plenty of new lower arms in stock if the poly arrangement isn ...

Re: Upper wishbone washers
Well, got done changing the lower inner arm bush for the front, what a pig that was. In hindsight, I’d definitely have stuck with the original arrangement of the rose joint type bush and in fact, almost binned the idea of fiddling any longer with it and was about to order a pair of new lower arms ...

Re: Upper wishbone washers
Thanks for the clarification gents, and Ian, thank you for noting the early versus late car arrangement. My car, being an '80, makes sense then. Maybe I'll have another go at trying to get everything to line up with three washers in place since that's how it's supposed to be. I guess I can also ...

Re: Sprint rear brake adjuster
The other point to bear in mind regarding the ratchet is the teeth, I have found some to be worn and they need to have a sharp edge for the adjuster to work correctly.
Malcolm
Thanks Malcom, cheers. I’ve inspected the teeth and they seem to be in fairly good nick so I’m hopeful that simply ...

Re: Sprint rear brake adjuster
Okay, well, if you’re willing to come off a RH side one, let me know how much you need for it before I drill the backing plate. You are referring to the arm and not the toothed sprocket, correct?

Re: Sprint rear brake adjuster
Steve,
Brilliant idea on drilling the backing plate! Since I’ve got it apart still, I think I’ll go this route.
As I understand it’s the same part as on an MGC, I checked Brown and Gammons who do have the adjusters but only sold as a pair and for a fortune, MGOC showed they had some on their ...

Re: Sprint rear brake adjuster
Haven’t had any luck finding the RH side adjuster lever. Does the club have those or just the H pieces?
