My project: LFP 48P
The aim:
With a huge amount of naivety, and hopefully lots of help from fellow TDC members and enthusiasts, I'm hoping to get my 1975 1850 back on the road. The aim is to have it running and road worthy before I turn 40: 20th December 2027.
I don't own many tools, but a ...

Re: Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire
Are you the 'Phil' that used to attend shows with Colin?
The very same one. I do believe Colin and I (or maybe Ken and I?) came to your home on occasion. I forget exactly why now, perhaps for a part for Colin's car?
I attended a show at the NEC where I helped to install an overdrive gearbox ...

I'll start a 'restoration' thread shortly, which will largely comprise of me asking how to do the most simple of tasks.

Re: Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire
Thanks for your replies. I have since also joined the Official Triumph Dolomite Club Facebook page . I'll probably post similar messages here and there in the hope of casting the net far and wide for advice and tips.

Re: Coolant Overflow
I know very little about cars, but my Dolomite was dumping coolant after fairly standard drives back in 2007. I didn't think much of it, thinking I'd get around to getting it looked at and would just keep topping it up as required.

Re: Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire
Noted, thank you.
I did do a quick search for the answer to this before posting, but is there a formal link between the club and the ‘Triumph Dolomite Club’ Facebook page?
I’m heading there next to ask if there are any owners close to me, too.
Phil
