Hi All,
Just wondering if anybody has had the same problem as myself. I am having trouble selecting reverse with and without the engine running. All the forward gears are no problem at all. After a run when the parts are hot it is almost impossible to select reverse.
Clutch is fine and oil level is ...

Electric Fuel Pump
Who’s replaced their mechanical fuel pump with an electric one.
If so, what make of pump have you used and importantly
Where have you located it. If you have located it at
the rear by the tank, where exactly have you put it.
Help greatly appreciated.

Mechanical Fuel Pump Advice
Hi All,
I need to change my mechanical fuel pump on my 1978 Sprint. Is there a make and supplier that you have used
and you can recommend their pump as being the best quality and reliable. It seems a bit of a minefield out there
as most seem to be non original types.
Cheers Guys Phil

Re: Rear Bumper
Hey that’s great if you can find one for me.
I am going to the show next weekend, as it’s only 20 mins from where I live.
You sound localish as well, as you are the WM rep.
How much do you want for one?
If you let me have your mob I can contact you when I arrive.
Cheers Phil

Rear Bumper
Hi All
I am looking for a rear R/H corner bumper for a 78 Dolly Sprint.
I think all year Dolly ones will fit. It does not have to be perfect
but good enough to re-chrome.

Re: Electrical faullt
I have a Elec Ign feed from the non fused side of the fuse box but there is also a feed there to the voltmeter which also stops working when the ign
circuits fail. So a bit confused why?
I have cleaned up all the connectors and the fuse holder, so will see if that solves the problem.
Otherwise ...

I have exactly the same problem as you. All the ignition connected items go off together, but not all the time, only sometimes.
I am working my way through the ignition wiring, starting at the fuse box connections etc. I am also considering cleaning the loom connectors by the steering column with a ...

Re: Headlamp relays
Could anyone tell me if the dip switch to headlight
Cables on a 78 Sprint are in the loom that runs
down the bottom of the R/H inner wing.
Cheers Phil

Headlamp relays
Hi All
I am going to fit relays to the headlamps as I am upgrading to
Halogen. Where on a 1978 Sprint would I find the cables
from the dip switch to the headlights, so I can split them
to wire in the relays.
Thanks Phil

Re: My Sprint breakdown - update
We have all done similar silly things, so don't be too hard on yourself.
Well done in finding the cause and good luck in putting it back to how it should be.
