Re: Rolling road recommendations please

There is a bit on his website called Clients & Costs.
https://www.aireytuning.com/#ourclients

It quotes "For 2 Twin Chock Carbs, 4 cyl £480 + Parts No Vat" and he treats SUs the same.

Re: Rolling road recommendations please

Tom Airey is definitely still in the game. He tuned my Sprint a couple of weeks ago (twin SUs). He's not the cheapest, but I'm quite pleased with the outcome,

Re: Hose clamps

JCS clips are quite good, but I prefer the Norma ones. These have rolled edges so that they don't dig into the hose, plus an offset thread that partly counteracts the torque when tightening.

Re: South West Dolly Day Sun 29th June

I've just booked and paid for four people.

I could not see how to indicate the number of vehicles or how to link it directly to this club.
Oh, well. It will be a good day out in any case.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Mine is supposed to look like that - but doesn't ...

Still, this one has only two days to go on auction but shows as £14,000 below the ebay price. Perhaps someone will pick it up for low to mid teens?

Re: South West Dolly Day Sun 29th June

I had a look at the Haynes website and could find no mention of the event. I guess that means it's not officially linked to the museum and we should just book as individuals. Or have I missed something?

Sending PMs

I joined the forum yesterday and thought I'd sent a PM. On another forum I use, the messages sit in the Outbox until you log out. This one hasn't done that. Can anyone tell me how the process works, please?
