I totally see that having a valuation is good thing to do. I gues that I wasn't clear as I should have been, all I was after was to see what the realistic range of values of a Sprint.
Perhaps I shouldn't have given any info about my car to keep it more generic
So many of what I have seen for sale ...

Re: Real world Sprint values
Thanks for all the feedback. It's given me food for thought. It will be a tough decision if I do sell!
It is interesting the difference in values between Dollys and Escorts. When I bought my Sprint , if my memory serves me right I could have bought a decent Mexico for a about a grand more.

Re: Real world Sprint values
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond so comprehensively. I really appreciate it.
I have the gut feel that if I wanted I could get the money to wash its face if I wanted to change to a Chimeara.

Real world Sprint values
Hello all,
What are the real world gut feel for Sprint values? I can't get a decent idea looking at whats been on the market recently. I'm not in the market to sell yet but money and time considerations mean I have to accept a fleet of fun cars is not on the cards for some time so I have to be ...

Re: Braided hoses for Trackerjack kit
I bought and fitted a set of Carledos braided hoses a few years ago and can't rate them highly enough.
I think I mentioned this a in a post a few years ago - don't be a wally like me - they're handed, trying to get the wrong side to fit will lead to swearing and thrown spanners. As soon as you pick ...

Re: Outdoor cover recommendations?
If you're definitely going for short term I've used a ~£30 cover from Halfords and thought it was good for the money. They do bleed a bit of water through in heavy rain but seem to allow it to dry afterwards.

That is a good call but I went over to polybushes a few years ago so was thinking they should last.
I've not checked them recently though, will take a look.

Loose front end!
I have a loose front end! There I've said it!
My Sprint can feel very nervous at higher speeds and can also pull to one side when braking. I've checked the brakes so I'm reasonably confident it's not them.
I've read that the front tie bars on the suspension can cause similar issues.

Re: Sprint standard exhaust
You were spot on with your predicted Steve, original exhaust would not come apart for love nor money.
It's now languishing in a scrap bin having been cut to remove it.

I just searched the forum and found the sports exhaust to be 42mm. Which if my maths isn't way off is 1 5/8"

Sprint sports exhaust downpipes
Hi guys, bit of a random question.
What size pipes are people running on a sports or uprated downpipes on a Sprint.
I'm having an exhaust made but the guy is concerned about enlarging the downpipes and then having a lot of heat soak into the cabin as they'll be very close to the bulkhead.

Sprint standard exhaust
Apologies if this isn't quite the right place to post but seemed like the best fit.
I am having a sports exhaust fitted to my sprint in the next few weeks as such I'll have a spare stainless standard exhaust.
I will sell the original system any ideas on the sort of price I should ask? It's a ...

I hope this isn't a contentious question but why are there two Triumph dolomite forums?
I'm not sure which one to post in and I don't really want to post twice.
