Mine is73L a beauty indeed.
I owned it in 1978 sold it in 80 found it in 2013
Rebuilt it and May sell this spring or early summer 24 as May move abroad.

Hi ... yes for a v good set up try 1 inch Lower uprated springs
Adjustable Gaz shocks poly bush it all front & rear.
Solid steering rack clamps. Uprated front ARB ( Geoff is spot on)
LSD hard to come by ... but well worthwhile.
My 73 has all the above ... hard road ride but on a good surface ...

Not very long before My Mimosa 73 OD Sprint returns to the road...
Ivor searles rebuild 2" SUs....Newman Cam ..uprated starter..Bigger recore on rad.....slightly ported n polished inside...
New clutch,elec fan in addition to existing e/ignition,e/fuel pump..12v w/pump.
Recent new subframe ...

Makes 4 of us then ...I've seen a Blue Dolomite in Taunton near the area of the Castle Hotel ..plus could not miss the Blue in progress car on the drive not far from Mount Somerset Hotel on way to M5 Bridgewater ??....

Correct that White Dolly is in fact an 1850 HL...Sprint lookalike.....And a nice car too!

Geoff....Many Thanks for your reply....makes good sense...I just would like to improve the road performance to suit the brakes and suspension ...both of which can take a little more oomph...just the traffic in the SE of UK is hard work sometimes....so I do not require a too rougher run engine...

Hi All.......my 73 Sprint is I believe more or less mechanically standard ...with exception to electric fuel pump/ lumenition.....There is far too much information and know it alls about to make good sense for Me ...so I prefer to ask TDC Members for simple logic.
