Track day 29th May Abingdon

#1 Post by trackerjack »

Well this event has been mentioned on another thread (Castle Combe).
Several like minded guys want to stretch the legs of their Dolomites (or whatever they like).
In a safe environment with large grass run off,s with nothing to hit :D
The people who run this event are very pleasant and really know their stuff, tere will be race instructers and advice aplenty, plus they will not tolerate bad behaviour and that makes it even better.
Abingdon is near Oxford and easily got to from most places.
I am going to approach other Triumph owners to see if we can get a few down there.
Please add your name if your going.
1. Jon Jackson Sprint.
2. Diane Jackson Sprint.
3. Mad Mart Sprint.

These events are popular and fill up quickly.
The day is run as briefing followed by a convoy 3 laps then track groups and finally open pit lane which means you will have plenty of track time.
The cost is £119.
The people to contact are http://www.motorsport-events.com/ mailto:trackdays@motorsport-events.com

I have vented front disks now, 230mm vented bolted onto alloy front hubs with AP 4pot calipers so my brake problems should be over.

has anyone put any baffles in the fuel tank to stop surging. My car will run out of fuel after going round a right hand corner after a long straight. i think the problem is that 2" sus dont have a big enoungh float chamber to cope with a small loss infuel supply. webbers etc have a largers float chambers i think. that helps
