Standard Triumph Day Crich Tramway Village

#1 Post by Yvonne Birkin »

This will be our third year at Crich. Those that came last year had a great time and I hope will be joining us this year too. It is in conjunction with Club Triumph and the 2000/2500 register. So come on everyone get the polish out and come and join us. We have had good weather in past years so don't let the early date put you off. Admission is FREE for the driver and car and reduced rates for all passengers and as much tea as you can drink. More on that later. Oh! when is it?

SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2009 AT THE CRICH TRAMWAY VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE. Put in you diaries and watch this space.

Just got back from this, what can only be discribed as fantastic show. :D

Took the french blue 2000, dolly having some cosmetics, great turn out of cars, spoke to a very fine gentleman with a honeysukle dolly with 14inch wires on, i loved it.

Got some ideas about sprint side stripes, gonna put one back on the 1850 once finished and fell in luv with an all original green sprint, awesome, that was for sale, if only i had the funds.

Anyhow beautiful day, beautiful backdrop, beautiful cars highly recommended.

Great day.

I went to this too, it was another great day so hats off to the organisers; Frank, Yvonne and the 2000 brigade I believe. The tramway museum is a fantastic period setting and totally family friendly too. Most models were represented in numbers - I counted 5 TR5's so even the rarer ones were well represented.

A great day, now a regukar for me for sure.
