What time is everyone getting there in the morning?
Re: National Restoration Show & Autojumble Sun 25th October
I'll probably be there between 9 amd 9.30 as I have to collect some metal beforehand. All fueled up and the bits and bobs in the boot. money in the wallet and list of bits wanted all printed off. Yeehaw!
Re: National Restoration Show & Autojumble Sun 25th October
I have all the passes and will be on the gate to hand them out from approx 7.30 until the last person turns up.
Cars are both on the stand ready to go.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Tom.

A quick post to say that I had a very enjoyable today in eveyone's company. Apologies for being the noisiest bugger there with the grinder, DA and elecky file.
Another great TDC stand which earned us 2nd place
The only downside was that I arrived with a wallet full of cash and left after spending £12. Well spent though but the stalls were a bit disappointing spareswise. Great if you were aftyer tools, etc. Still the excellent company made up for it a million times over. No doubt others will supply more commentary and piccies.
Cheers everyone.
Ken

Re: National Restoration Show & Autojumble Sun 25th October
Evening all,
Total score - new front on Toms Dolomite, loads of bits done on Alans Dolomite, 2 alloys started to be polished, and dispatched to their new owners, and a fair bit of business in terms of regalia etc.
Oh yes, and 2nd place in the club stands competition, which is £150 to the clubs coffers!
Many, many thanks to all of the "volunteers" including Steve Wilkes, Micheal C, Duncan, Dave Poth, Alun Nicholas, Nathan Billing, Reg, Danny, Jeanette, Andy P, Tom 16V, Matthew (Triumph650), Purple Barge Ken, and whoever else that I've forgotten!
Roll on the NEC!

GREAT BIG THANKYOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED OUT TODAY!!
I had a great day!
Personal thankyou to Steve Wilkes for an epic job on my car with the welder and hammers.
It still hasn't quite sunk in just how well it has all gone together.
Thanks also to Mike for transporting the cars with his van and trailer.
Thanks to Ken for helpful hints and tips and working away most of the day on the back door I have for the car.
Thanks to Nath for help and good advice with the prep work I did with the panels.
Thanks to Bruce and Matthew for help with organisation and setting up.
Thanks to Andy and Alun and all others who helped with organisation.
Thanks to everyone working on Alun's car and manning the regalia stand and all those who bought tools and equipment along.
Apologies to all those I've missed.
I'm sure you get the idea.
It was great to meet everyone.
See you at the NEC

Good to meet you Tom, glad to have helped, even just a little bit. That was a brilliant job of welding that Steve did. With just a small amount of filling., that will look great.
The general consensus was that you have a damn good car there.

Re: National Restoration Show & Autojumble Sun 25th October
OK, I took but one tool, an offset ring spanner 1/2"AF one end and 7/16" at the other. Someone has obviously tidied into their tool box. Can I have it back please? I'm very fond of it and it of me!.
Convinced 2nd place was political, just to keep the other Clubs interested and therefore competitive!
