Work has prevented too much progress, which I suppose is a good thing. However, the undersealing process if complete and, believe it or not, the car is almost ready to face the MoT tester.
The main task was to ensure that the underbody was sound. The inner wheelarches have been stripped, painted with epoxy-mastic, followed by a coat of stonechip underseal and then a light coat of pimento red bodycolour. The front panel has also been rustproofed, after its edges were welded, and painted in epoxy mastic.
The headlights are now back in. The rear lights do not work and the engine really needs a service. Oh, I may also replace the rear exhaust box, prior to the test...
