If you superglue the rubber back onto the metal bit of an engine mount it only lasts about 4 miles, so out it comes again tomorrow.
This time I think I'll have to weld it back together.

I followed a Rimmer Bros truck through Bidford-on-Avon this morning, about 9am. He headed North on the A46 and I headed South, towards Evesham. I wonder what he was doing (other than a good 20 above the prevailing speed limit....)

I second that, I thought it was a bunch of beer bottles? Perhaps a Cider?NickMorgan wrote:What is tinweevil's avatar? It has been puzzling me for some time!

Hmmm, no direct answers
.........
Did you know that its quite common for blokes camping at Le Mans to build a wall with their empty stumpies? One built on the Houx Annexe site in about 2002 by 7 blokes over 4 days averaging a crate of 24 per head per day might look something like this.

Now, I'm not the worlds greatest expert on beer walls but I reckon from the overall shape there may have been a classic car enthusiast in the party that built this example. Perhaps I might venture that he could even be a fan of 70's British saloons....

I was going to say thanks to tinweevil, but I can't because that would go against the spirit of this thread!
It would be nice if the temperature rose above freezing today.

It is rare indeed to receive any good news from large faceless organisations. However, opening a letter from one of the worlds largest insurance companies to read that they owe you a refund of £130, and that the money will be in your bank account on or before 23 December does indeed fit into that category.
