Wow what a great show, tiop marks to Bruce and his artisic eye in arranging the stand.
Good to catch up with you all and meet a few faces that i only talk to on the forum.
I got some of the stuff on my list but no front valance although Mr Dolphin would have beaten me to it had someone been selling one, the search goes on.

Tiumph650 has a nice pic of Ken and Marty.

I went today for the first time and it was great! I travelled 168 miles from Wensleydale, does that make me furthest travelled? Don't know what everyone else thought, but were Dolly bits thin on the ground? Got the feeling if I'd had a Herald or a TR something or other, I'd have been better served. That said, thanks to everyone who put on our club stand, it was good to meet some of you and put faces to names. A good day out.

There was a dolly on the CT stand, A tolly on the TSSC stand, a dolly (the V8 toledo) on Thames Renegade stand and a sprint in the for sale section and of course the TDC stand, so considering how many there are in total and the in my opinion the poor club stand turn out (number of clubs/ stands) then its a good average.

Right then, thanks to everyone for the cars that were there, Nathan, Justyn, Craig, Angie, and Richard, to Micheal C for the screen, visual work and lighting, Danny and Jeanette for the sales work, Mike G for ferrying things to and from Stoneleigh, Stuart, Andy P, Tom, Ken and anyone else I missed who has helpd either directly on the stand, or indirectly in the run up to the show.

We had a good day, with lots of visitors to the stand.

The large projection screen was set very high over the roof of the 1500, pictures of Dolomites, FWD's, and the Triumph factory had people stopping and looking for a long time.

We had 5 cars on the stand, and I'm sorry, but only one was a Dolomite!

No prizes won, but with good regalia sales, and the signing up of new members, the day can only be regarded as a success.

Thanks again to all involved

Hi All,

I had a really good day and got a few bits that I needed. The stand looked fantastic and there were loads of visitors.

Special thanks to Ken for my cow burger lunch(!) - I hope you made it home okay?

Cheers for a great day out everyone. The Club stand looked brilliant and it's a swizz that it was acknowledged prize-wise. Maybe we are a little too good at winning. There's always the Resto Show!

Some really great cars on show and as always, it was fantastic to meet up with the old faces and some new ones.

Managed to get most of my needs list and had quite a laugh encouraging certain members to flex their haggle genes.

The only blot on the day (apart from chronic foot pain) was the damn Hyundai spewing it's engine oil somewhere between London and Stoneleigh. Recovery chap from Cov was great and I arrived home at 9:00. Very, sore and very, very tired.

Thanks again for all of the help, laughs and freindship.

Hi everyone

I also had a great day! Last minute shift change at work was well worth the hassle.

I second all the sentiments about the stand. It was fab!

Picked up a few bits to hopefully get UOW back on the road some time in the not so distant future.

Great to see everyone and meet a few new people too.

Thanks to all that helped make it all happen and see you all soon.

Did anyone else notice the guy who was selling some NOS wings and doors for a Dolly? If you did, did you not think they were in fact used ones touched up with some satin black paint? The wings had spot weld holes in them and the inside of the doors were still sticky with waxoyl. £100 each for the wings and £75 per door. I walked away but plenty of people look and several people bought. I hope I'm wrong but the items on offer smelt of fresh paint. I'm not convinced they were what they purported to be.

Didn't come back with much myself apart from a zaust courtesy of Mr XVi Valve, thanks again. Oh and a spoiler and gearbox which I'd already agreed to pick up. As usual not a whole lot of Dolly bits and some rather pricey.

I got pretty much everything I wanted to get (just short of a cover piece for the windscreen trim)!

Good to see a few people, though I didn't meet as many new faces as I wanted to.

Great to see so many beautiful cars in one place, can't wait for next year :D
