the track Sprint's got a new MoT.
Booked in on the rollers all day Wednesday at Spamspeed. So if you're around the Stonehouse area, pop in & say hello.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years.
... Still Sprintless.
Engines, Gearboxes, Overdrives etc. rebuilt. PM me.

Well done that man. I hope I'm in similar spirits on Tuesday....
Going to spend Saturday double-checking everything; then spend Sunday at Stoneleigh (probably fretting over if there's anything I've missed)..... probably bump into you at some point Martin.

I went out earlier to put the Sprint in the garage for the night (special treat) & it wouldn't start.
Unusual as it usually starts very easily. So I pushed it into the garage & put the battery on charge as it was getting rather slow by now. Went out an hour later & still it wouldn't start. Then I noticed the LED wasn't on on the Megajolt unit, got me thinking, fuse! It then dawned on me that the fuel pump wasn't ticking either DOH! Took the fuse out, a quick wipe & put it back in and guess what?....It started. Double DOH! It must be my age.
Once it had warmed up a bit it just sat there at 1000rpm, the rev counter needle was static & the engine just purred away. Not bad for a Sprint with 45s & a wild cam.
So why am I taking it to the Rolling Road tomorrow!

Probably because a decent tickover ain't going to help much at Silverstone

... Erm.... No ! Beginning to think it's a conspiracy.
Apparently no-one else got an MoT, today, either, as the entire VOSA system has been 'down'.
What d'you reckon - Third time lucky ?

Apparently; patience is a virtue, and all good things come to those who wait, and all that jazz.....
... Tara the Toledo has an MoT
Now all she needs is tax (road fund; whatever you want to call it), and Silverstone, here we come.
