Back on topic...........

A very good turnout from the Dolomite Club, 11 cars in total out of the 102 that completted the run.
65 miles, lots of sunshine and twisty roads, followed by a drive to CCOTP and Nandos.
Prizes for the best dolomite/1300/1500 went to Davabt and Frazer.
Pics later.

Dave, your car is a beauty and should have won, I was admiring it so much I got underneath to take some pictures, I was delighted to win especially as it wasn't expected, I didn't even leave my number card out! It must have been the colour that did it and not the rusty rear end!

Really enjoyable day and will attend many more, this was my first event I have been to in the 20 years I have had her. I feel I have missed out in the past, but after this fantastic day and meeting so many nice people, I look forward to the next.

Hi, thats my mate Dee he will join the forum soon. lovely original 1300, he loves all the retro stuff, shame his car was too tall to make it into the carpark, that's why its parked outside at the start point.

 Too tall? How? Are the Choppers welded to the roof then? It's a great look.

The more obervant of you may recognise the brown 1850, 'MLM317V' at the front of the row as the car from Ashes to Ashes!

And only one brake down from our group which wasn;t really a breakdown, James's 1300 had a thermostat overflow hose come loose which was soon fixed by our resident handyman.

Due to circumstances beyond my control i didn't actually get any footage of the run and i started the event in one car and finished it in another
