The exhaust came with the Sprint. Possibly a Falcon exhaust as per the club used to sell, not sure.

No Malc, just a static display. You're treading on dodgy ground Malc as Mary reads these threads. [-X

(please guys, Combe only has one 'o' in).

Re the reg area; it was Southend until 1974, since then it's been Chelmsford.
This place gives all current information regarding DVLOs. :)

THJ now has insurance & will be off to the MoT test station tomorrow at 12:00.

I've cured the servo problem by replacing with another. I took a chance that the replacement would be ok & sprayed it up before I installed it. 8-[ I managed to swap servos without removing the m/c, I just moved it to one side & tied it to the carbs. Removed the air box completely & lowered the clutch reservoir enough for the servo to go over the top of the pipe.

We picked up a windscreen from James (miniman) yesterday, which he is loaning us until I can get the one off Justyn. Also fitted the woppers after receiving some very nice condition blades from Alan (Crome). :D

That's about it until after the MoT test, when I shall drive it to the sprayers for him to finish polishing the sides & fettle with a couple of the doors.

Decided to drive it out into the sunshine & take some pics...

I'm not sure about the exhaust though, it seems a bit loud so I may put a standard system on it. We'll see once I've driven a bit.

Looks like a DSR supplied Falcon sports exhaust.
The back box does no silencing.......
I have a Chris Witor supplied T2000 mark one semi sports back box on my 1850 now
(and no front box), far better as it is quieter, doesn't vibrate, is beautifully made and much cheaper too.

I have a TT-supplied Falcon system with a single pipe on the rear (so different from the one on THJ) - never noticed it to be loud (or maybe I'm just going deaf in my old age). Did they change the design and/or quality?

Car looks great in the natural light, Martin. Good luck with the test.
