TR Event at Billing Aquadrome - They want Dollies there!!!!

To explain, the Midland TR7 group meet each year at Billing Aquadrome in Northampton on 4th July, (I went along last year and it was a well attended and good show). This year through my brother (who owns a TR7) a suggestion was made to invite another triumph classification to the meet, and the Dolomite was the mentioned as a joint meet.

Can you help! can you get enough members interested in attending a joint meet and show at Billing on 4th July.

If its any use and you need a contact my telephone is 0h 0ne Six oh for 478 for five for, (I'm Peter by the way) but I am going away on holiday on Saturday 31st May until 5th June.

I really do hope you can help, I think the two models of cars would make a fine display.

'Tis a great venue if the weather stays dry, one I'd like to attend but cannot as there's a new event locally to which I already pledged my support. Bottoms!

Just an update, there is a £10 entry fee to this meeting, this is to gain access to Billing Aquadrome, the car show is then free..

Sorry. I'm struggling due to work commitments as I've away in Manchester most of next week, plus under pressure from SWMBO to sort out the house ahead of unplanned visitors from the states the weekend after so I'll have to cry off any long term presence.

If I can get a pass for an hour or so I'll try to come along.

I always try to pop in for a couple of hours to this event, its great to see some Triumph activity locally.
Spotted a lovely TR4/5 going the other way on the A45 in Northampton yesterday.

I'm gonna pop in for a bit this afternoon, i can certainly take the Dolly instead of the 2000, i have an 1850.

Ah Well, Thanks to the Midland TR Owners for a very pleasant day at Billing, unfortunately, only 2 Dolly type vehicles were able to make it, Peters 1300 Dolly, and KAC, 1300 FWD.

Billing itself need no introduction, a nice venue near Northampton.
The event itself will run again next year, first full weekend of July. Well worth penciling in to the diary!

Some of the TRs have expressed an interest in going to TDCIR at Cosford, I've said that they're welcome!!

Sorry I didn't make it. I've been stuck in the office all day working (just finishing now at 0.30pm!).

Plus having fitted the Britpart ignition I don't have a fully functioning Dolly until I get the timing sorted.
